These new townhomes are 3 levels with 3 bedrooms, 1½ bathrooms and full walkout basements and offered to families and individuals with incomes that fall within 60 – 80 percent of the median area income.
Cross Street Partners worked with Habitat during the design phase and made recommendations to improve interior and exterior designs that reduced construction costs. One of the recommendations was to improve the site plan to allow walkout rather than in-ground basements. This recommendation created additional livable space and saved on costs. All homes met Energy Star and LEED for Home requirements.
