Cross Street Partners, City Life Community Builders, and Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake together applied for and was awarded seven townhomes located on the 2200 block of E. Biddle Street through Baltimore City’s Vacants to Value program.

This is phase 1 of a multi-phase redevelopment effort the partnership will undertake in this community. The home interiors will be demolished and renovated into workforce homes that will appeal to families and individuals who want to live and work within the community. These 3-level, 2 bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom units, with full unfinished basements, will be priced under $130,000. All townhomes will have backyards and private parking. All homes will meet Energy Star and LEED for Home requirements.
